Lebanon man accused of stealing safe and cash from business

A Lebanon man is facing charges in connection with the theft of over $29-thousand-dollars that was stolen during a burglary at a business on Route 66 in Lebanon. Laclede County Deputies responded to the call on March 9th when it was reported that someone had triggered the alarm and broke into the business through a window. At the scene it was reported that during the break in 2 safes were stolen. While conducting the investigation Deputies reviewed video which showed two people entering the building, and taking the safes, that contained cash. On March 10th, the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office received a call informing them that a broken safe had been found on property where construction was underway. Investigators then obtained a search warrant and used data to determine devices that were in the area of the burglary. The investigation continued for over a month, and Riley Ray Hensley has been summoned to court on May 20th. He is charged with burglary and felony stealing.
