A Lebanon man who is already facing charges of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with a motor vehicle from 2019, is now charged with elder abuse. The investigation began when the caretaker of the victim reported the alleged abuse. It’s alleged that 28-year-old Timothy Leon Farris had poured rubbing alcohol into the elderly victim’s drink, smokes in the house around oxygen, takes the victim’s oxygen away, and turns off the power to the victim’s residence for no reason. Farris is being held in the Laclede County Jail with a bond of $5-thousand-dollars. Farris pleaded not guilty in court today(Mon).
