A Lebanon man is facing charges in connection with an assault that happened on Booten Avenue, in September. Lebanon Police arrived at the residence and found the victim with wounds to his head and upper torso. The victim told police that his roommate 32-year-old Nicholas Wayne Johnson, had slammed the door into his face, threw him on the ground and began hitting him. Johnson had already left the residence by the time police arrived. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. This week Johnson was arrested for domestic assault with a bond of $20-thousand-dollars. According to the courts, Johnson is facing a multitude of other unrelated charges including resisting arrest, drug possession, burglary, and stealing. He remains in the Laclede County Jail.
