Lebanon City Council on Monday approved the purchase of 6 Dodge Durango’s from Graven Chrysler Dodge for the Police Department at a cost of $221-thousand-dollars, with another $71-thousand-916 for equipment and installation by NROUTE Enterprises. Council approved the purchase from SnapOn Industrial. Council also considered an agreement with BlackRoads Group for asphalt sealant. Street Supervisor Mike Moore said this would allow sealant to be laid on Tower, Jackson, and Adams. Mayor Carr inquired about the quality of the product…

 

The agreement was approved with a cost not to exceed $45,732. Council also approved a request from the Tourism Department for an agreement with Madden Media for digital marketing with the funds expended to be reimbursed 100 percent to the city of Lebanon. The approved amount was $13,040. Council approved the conveyance of property at 687 William Street, where a developer wants to build a new home. As part of the agreement, the buyer will have to have a certificate of occupancy within 12 months, or would be required to pay the city $4995 or return the property back to the City. Council approved True Construction to install a concrete stage for the Amphitheater at Boswell Park with a base bid of $44-thousand-dollars. Council also gave approval on the first reading to amend and repeal the code related to Tattoo Parlors.
