Lebanon continues to reconfigure Springfield Road

The City of Lebanon is continuing a street project which is designed to alleviate some traffic congestion on Jefferson Avenue. The project is connecting Van Buren Avenue and Springfield Road, according to Public Works Director Richard Shockley….

Shockley said when complete it will be a 4 way intersection and will address some safety issues….

Shockley said they expect to have the new street driveable in September. Once that is complete the city will work on forming green space.

The project budget for the street portion is about $175-thousand-dollars.
