Lebanon City Council will consider a resolution endorsing revitalization efforts of the Lebanon Downtown Business District and participating in the Main Street Grant, during the upcoming Monday night meeting. City Council will consider an agreement with Cahills Construction for professional cleaning of the Cowan Civic Center Exhibition Hall, from the roof to the floor. Cahills Construction’s cleaning bid was $95-thousand-dollars, with the work to be completed over a 7 day period. In other business, Council will consider the purchase of a divider curtain for the Civic Center Gym, the purchase of street light poles, and transformers. Council will consider an agreement with Bales Construction for Fire Station 2 repairs, and an agreement with Olsson Incorporated for survey and engineering services for the construction of a cul de sac on Maple Lane and a parking area at Nelson Lake, and they will vote on approving an overlay at the front entrance of Ashley Park. They will consider a real estate contract for the acquisition of property on Tower Road and accepting a property donation at the corner of North Jefferson and Bennett, and approved the sale of 2 hangers at the Floyd W Jones Airport. In other business, Lebanon City Council will consider the first reading of a bill to rezone property at Glencastle Lane and Tower Road from residential to limited commercial. Lebanon City Council will meet on Monday September 14th at 6pm.
