There will be 3 public hearings during the Monday night Lebanon City Council meeting. Council will hold hearings on the tax levies for the General Fund, Parks, and the Downtown Business District. There will be public hearings on the final plat of Lazy Lee’s Subdivision and the George Marshall Subdivision. Following the public hearings, Lebanon City Council will vote on all three taxes and the final plat requests. In other business, City Council will vote on an agreement between the city and Cox Health to provide annual HazMat physicals for the fire department, and they will vote on the purchase of a new cardiac monitor, and fire fighting helmets and lights. Lebanon City Council will vote on the purchase of steel poles for the electric department at a cost of approximately $138-thousand-dollars, and they will vote on the documents necessary to reconstruct Perry Street and Beckett Street. Council will consider approving the amended Fiscal Year 2020 budget, and they will consider the purchase of land for right of way to extend Beck Lane for the new Public Safety Building. Lebanon City Council may vote to go into closed session to discuss legal issues and real estate. The meeting will begin at 6 pm on Monday, August 24th, at City Hall.
