Lebanon City Council met Monday night with a busy agenda

Lebanon City Council Monday night approved the purchase of 64V-Tac LED Light Fixtures from Butler Supply for the Kenneth E. Cowan CivicCenter at a cost of $21,497.60. According to city staff, Butler Supply was the only bidder that could supply the exact model requested. The newly purchased lights will match the lighting that is already in parts of the Civic Center. Council also approved the replat of Hicks Subdivision and the Lowe Elm StreetSubdivision and the overlay of Hoover Avenue, Mountrose, and Raef Road. Police Chief Brian Arnold addressed the council about transferring ownership of K-9 Zidan to Officer Rodney Vansickle who is leaving the department.

Chief Arnold asked that the Lebanon Police Department take a break from the K9 program

City Council approved the transfer of ownership.

Stacy Burks with the Red Cross addressed City Council during the Monday meeting and presented the results of the Battle of The Badges . She said when they first booked Battle of the Badges, COVID-19 wasn’t heard of, but when the time came Lebanon stepped up…….

The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive award was presented to the Police Chief and the Mayor.
