A few purchases and agreements are on the agenda for Lebanon City Council during Monday nights meeting. During discussions and presentations, Abby Hynes will be recognized for National Band Honors, and council will hear a report on the FY 2019 Audit. Council will consider an agreement with Adaptive Insights to provide Financial Management Software, and an agreement with GovSense for the implementation of Financial Management Software. Lebanon City Council will consider the purchase of a floor scrubber from Springfield Janitor Supply for the Cowan Civic Center, and the purchase of two 25-hundred foot reels of underground wire from Graybar Electric Company. Council will consider an agreement with Ace Pipe Cleaning for collection system improvements to the Goodwin Hollow watershed number 4, and they will consider a change order to reduce the amount paid to Capital Paving and Construction by nearly $35-thousand for work at the airport. Council will consider approval to purchase land at 1330 and 1342 Ivey Lane for $85-thousand-dollars, and they will consider modifications to the Lebanon Employee Benefit Plan. Finally Lebanon City council will consider an ordinance establishing salaries for elected officials. According to the proposed ordinance, the position of Mayor was last adjusted in 1979 to $400.00 a month, and the position of Councilmember was last adjusted in 1998 to $200.00. This ordinance increases the position of Mayor to $800.00 per month and the position of Councilmember to $400.00 per month while holding compensation for other elected officials at the same rate. If approved the increase would not go into effect until the 2020 and 2021 elections for sitting City Council members.   Lebanon City Council will meet at 6pm Monday at City Hall.
