Lebanon City Council held a public hearing and a vote on tax levies during the Monday night meeting. City Clerk Laina Starnes reported on the levy for the general fund and parks.

Starnes explained that the parks levy would be rolled back in January 2022.

Council also approved the ordinance setting the tax levy of the Downtown Business District with the tax rate ceiling of point 6888 per hundred dollars assessed valuation. The total assessed value for the business district is nearly $3.9-million-dollars. The tax levies are set after calculations and review by the State Auditor.
