Lebanon City Council approved several purchases and agreements during the Monday night meeting. Council approved Dunn Mowing to perform mowing services at city facilities with a 3 percent cost increase over the prior year. Lebanon Public Works Director Richard Shockley recommended L&B Services for road boring as needed for various projects.

The company will be brought in on projects on an as-needed basis. The agreement is for 1 year with the option to renew for 3 years. Council also approved Border States company to provide Fiberglass Crossarms for the Electric Department. The purchase will allow the city to replenish stock to normal levels. At a cost of $14,280, the fiberglass crossarms have a life cycle of 60 to 75 years. Council also approved Abe Penner Ford Aviation to take over the lease of a T-Hanger at the Floyd W Jones Airport, and they approved the lease of a billboard near Fort Leonard Wood from Lamar at a cost of approximately $500 a month until May 2023.
