Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce seeks County Development Tax funding from Laclede County

Each year, Laclede County picks up several hundred thousand dollars in County Development Tax funds. Throughout the year, local fire districts and departments, road and bridge, and others have the ability to apply to the Laclede County Commission for CDT funds. Economic Development is one of the uses specified for the tax, and each year the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is one entity that applies. This year, Lebanon Area Chamber Executive Director Ashley Mahan said they applied for $20-thousand-dollars on June 29th.
