(St. Robert)–Leadership Pulaski County Class 8 has chosen its annual Community Service Project. This year, there have decided to partner with the Foster Love Project that the Pulaski County Health Department organizes. This program is close to the hearts of the members of this year’s class. In fact, several members from Class have personally fostered and adopted children. Children often come into foster care with nothing but the clothes on their backs and a few belongings in a trash bag. L-P-C Class 8 is working with the Pulaski County Health Department’s Foster Love Project to collect backpacks containing much needd items during this holiday season. L-P-C Class 8 is accepting donations of bags, backpacks, and small suitcases filled with personal and comfort items for children to call their own. The goal of this year’s L-P-C class is to collect 170 filled bags by December 11th.

People who would like to help, simply purchase a bag, fill it up, and dop it off at one of three convenient locations–the Pulaski County Health Department in Crocker, Waynesville Medical Plaza, and Matt Smith Real Estate Group in St. Robert. Donated items to include are toiletries, stuffed animals, small blanket, personal pillow, pajamas, gift cards, coloring books, crayons, slipper socks, nightlight, sketch books, or journals.
