Missouri lawmakers are working to get a grip on the state’s drug overdose crisis. A Missouri taskforce is studying the opioid epidemic and the effect it’s had on residents. Alicia Jenkins, with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), says her agency has a CDC-funded program that supports collecting drug overdose data to develop response and prevention efforts.
