Law Would Require Career Roadmap By 9th Grade

A roadmap for the future is the purpose of a bill that would require Missouri students to come up with a career and academic plan before 9th grade. State Senator Karla Eslinger, who is sponsoring the bill, says students would create the plan along with a parent or guardian and a school counselor…

The Missouri Senate could debate her bill at any time. With about three weeks to go in the legislative session, Eslinger could try to add her bill to another one closer to the finish line.
