Law Would Allow Guns On Public Transportation

The Missouri House is considering a bill that would allow someone to carry a gun on public transportation. Currently, it’s a crime to board a bus with a weapon or to carry a weapon in a terminal. St. Charles Republican Representative Adam Schnelting says his bill is designed to reduce crime on public transportation…

One provision of his bill would allow concealed carry in places of worship, to which Lee’s Summit Democrat Keri Ingle says is an infringement of religious freedom. A House committee has not voted on the bill yet.
