Law Bans Daughter From Witnessing Fathers Execution

Kevin Johnson is set to be executed in less than a week.  and his 19-year-old daughter wants to witness his execution. But she’s being forbidden to do so because Missouri law only allows people age 21 and older to witness the execution of a family member. Corene Kendrick is with the ACLU’s National Prison Project:

A hearing with a federal judge was held Monday to grant 19-year-old Khorry Ramey’s request to attend her father’s execution. A decision is expected by Friday.
