Late penalties waived on conceal care

(Jefferson City)–Governor Mike Parson has signed an executive order suspending late penalties for concealed carry license renewals. During a Capitol press conference, Parson said the order waives the requirement that sheriffs enforce the penalties.

House Minority Leader Crystal Quade says Parson thinking this is a priority is beyond disappointing and gives further ammunition to critics who say he is not doing what’s needed to stop the spread of COVID-19.
