Lake Regional Health Sees Explosion in COVID Cases

The Lake Regional Health System has seen an explosion of COVID cases over the last six weeks. Dane Henry, C-E-O of Lake Regional Health System, says many of those that are currently hospitalized are younger individuals who are critically ill. Henry adds that every single ventilator they have at the hospital is currently in use………….

From June 9th through June 24th, Lake Regional Health System lost seven patients to the COVID virus. Henry says they lost another patient after that press release was sent out on Wednesday. Henry says unless the vaccination rate in this area climbs dramatically, the situation will remain dire, and people will unnecessarily lose their lives to COVID………..

Henry says the vaccine is free, safe, and readily available. He urges residents to get vaccinated to stop the dramatic rise in cases, and lives lost, in our area.
