A Lake Ozark man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a Camden County Deputy who was attempting to take him into custody last week. The incident on June 30th began in the area of Horseshoe Bend Parkway, when a deputy spotted a man known to have felony warrants for his arrest, driving in the area. The Deputy pulled over the car driven by 22-year-old Campbell Bee, and as they attempted to take him out of the car, he rolled up a window on the Deputy’s arm, trapping him in the vehicle. Another deputy broke the window, freeing the other officer, and Bee was removed from the vehicle, and arrested. Bee, who was free on bond at the time on other charges, is being held without bond. He’s facing multiple charges including assault on a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest.
