Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments is hosting a series of meetings to discuss the updates within the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. The CEDS is evaluated and updated every five years; The new and revised CEDS is due to the Economic Development Administration (EDA) in early 2022. The publics participation in the planning and development of the 2022 CEDS is imperative to making sure the needs of the four-county region is met. Linda Conner is the Executive Director for the Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments, and she speaks on the importance of these public meetings.

The first of the six meetings will be February 2nd and cover and introduction to exactly what the CEDS is, why its important to identify opportunities of potential new businesses and growth, along with some industry experts to discuss the how-to’s.
