The Laclede Literacy Council is about more than teaching people to read. Whether it’s a person who needs to get their diploma, wants to learn english, or needs help with financial literacy, Laclede Literacy Director Carol Barsby said they can help
Barsby said additionally they have 7 students that are in the English as a second language class. Overall their students ages range from 16 to 99, and the Literacy Council is available to help, with no cost to the student.
