Laclede County Women Charged with drug possession
A 35 year old Laclede County woman has been charged with felony drug possession following an investigation by the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group. When officers searched the residence of April M. Gunter, they seized multiple glass pipes that contained methamphetamine residue. Gunter is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with a bond set at $5-thousand-dollars.
A Lebanon woman who had active warrants for her arrest is now facing additional charges following a traffic stop by a Laclede County Deputy. During the stop, a passenger in the vehicle tried to lie about her identity but a mobile fingerprint scanner identified her as Casandra D Hoover of Lebanon. During the search of the vehicle the deputy located a purse which contained a bag of fungi that is suspected to be Psilocybin Mushrooms. Hoover was also allegedly found to be in possession of a smoking device that tested positive for methamphetamine. In addition to the outstanding warrants for her arrest, The 41 year old Hoover is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. Her next court date is set for January 8th.
