Laclede County Sheriff and Missouri State Highway Patrol investigating murder

The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating a homicide that occurred at a residence in the county.
Mark Allan Pitts, 57, of Lebanon was found dead at his residence by a relative around 10:00 Thursday morning. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap says the murder took place on Highway YY:

The victim’s red, 1999 Chevy Silverado truck, with a toolbox in the bed and rust over the rear wheels, is missing from the residence. There is a scratch on the passenger side of the truck. The license plate on the truck is Missouri 0HD-A10. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office at 417-532-2311.
