Over the last two weeks, Laclede County has recorded more confirmed cases of COVID than during any other two-week period since the pandemic began. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says they have a graph on the department’s Facebook page that illustrates the situation.

Over the last two weeks, there have been 144 more cases than any other two-week period since May of 2020. Baker says the graph illustrates a number of things.

553 confirmed cases have been reported over the last two weeks. The previous record was 409 cases in December of 2020. From February 22nd, 2021 to June 7th, 2021 the county didn’t report over 41 cases in any two-week period.
