The Laclede County Health Department has received notification of eighteen (18) additional positive laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Laclede County. Our total is now Four-Hundred-Forty-Five (445) cases to date; One-Hundred-thirty (130) currently being monitored, three-hundred-Thirteen (313) considered recovered, and Two (2) deaths. Case #429 to #446 showed 16-Symptomatic, 2-Asymptomatic (not having symptoms), 4-Identified as close contact to a positive case, 7- Identified as household contact to a positive case, and 7-No known contact to a positive case assuming community spread.

The Pulaski County Health Department in Crocker reports that several more public locations and events have been identified as potential Covid-19 exposure risks. These at-risk public locations and events include the evening meeting September 9th at Dixon V-F-W…the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon September 9th from 11:45 a-m to 1 p-m at the Ark…the evening of September 9th around 7 o’clock at the Ocean Buffet in St. Robert…and the evening meeting September 10th at the Dixon American Legion. Anyone listed as close contact to any of the cases will be notified by the Pulaski County Health Center. Any individual who was at any of these events or locations around the time listed above and starts exhibiting symptoms should contact your health care provider as soon as possible. You may also call the health department for assistance in locating a testing site. Please do not go to your workplace or anywhere in public should you start having symptoms.
