Laclede County man accused of stealing and property damage

A Laclede County man is facing charges following an investigation by the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office. On September 20th, law enforcement responded to a call at a business on Equestrian Drive after the owner noticed several items missing from outside the business building. When the owner reviewed video it showed a suspect vehicle and it also showed a man getting out and taking 5 wheels and 2 batteries, and then rummaging through some other vehicles on the property. The investigation led deputies to a residence in Stoutland and to another where 23 year old Tyler Craig Alford was arrested. Alford is charged with property damage and stealing with a $5-thousand-dollar cash bond.
