Laclede County is 12th in the nation over the last two weeks of new COVID cases per capita. 13 Missouri counties are in the top 25 on that list. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the rapid surge of COVID in Laclede County could be due to the fact that those who have been diagnosed with the virus are not following quarantine guidelines and are infecting others……….

Baker urges residents who are sick to follow the quarantine guidelines and to stay away from large gatherings such as the Route 66 Festival, the Laclede County Fair, baseball and softball tournaments, and more.
