The Laclede County Health Department, and the Laclede County Office of Emergency Management, met on Thursday for their weekly coronavirus update. The meeting is an effort to keep the public informed about what is going on locally regarding the spread of the virus. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says there are currently 14 states that have reported cases of the virus. Missouri has yet to see a laboratory-confirmed case of coronavirus………

Baker told those in attendance that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has set one of the guidelines for symptoms of coronavirus as a fever of 100.4 or greater………

Baker says they will continue to meet on a weekly basis until the situation changes. Baker says a good source for information is the CDC’s website, which is updated daily. The weekly coronavirus meetings are held at 10 a.m. each Thursday at the Laclede County Office of Emergency Management, and those meetings are open to the public.
