The Laclede County Health Department reports three additional deaths from COVID-19 Thursday. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker says, These individuals were diagnosed and laboratory-confirmed with the virus. Baker says, of these three individuals, certification documents showed all were reported to have other underlying health issues. Baker says, protection for yourself and others include: proper and frequent handwashing, cleaning frequently used surfaces, staying home when you are sick, avoiding contact with people who are sick, coughing, sneezing into a tissue, wearing a mask when in public, not gathering in large groups and social distancing of 6-feet. Six people have lost their life to COVID-19 this week.
