Laclede County Health Department reports five new deaths due to COVID-19

The Laclede County Health Department reports today (Wednesday) five deaths due to COVID-19. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker says, these individuals were diagnosed and laboratory-confirmed cases. Of these five individuals, certification documents showed all were reported to have had underlying health issues. Baker says, with the five deaths being reported today that brings the total number of deaths in Laclede County to 54. Baker is asking residents to continue to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 illness which may include: fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat a loss of taste or smell. If a resident has the mentioned symptoms to contact your health provider and stay home.
