Laclede County Health Department Recoups COVID Response Funds

The Laclede County Health Department has been able to recoup over 233-thousand dollars that came out of their operating budget during their COVID response. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, told Board of Trustees members during their Thursday afternoon meeting that the grant came from the Federal Emergency Management Agency……….
Baker says she’s pleased that the money has been put back into their operating budget………
With that money back in the budget, that leaves around 250-thousand dollars that the department spent out of their budget during the COVID response still unfunded. Baker isn’t sure if the department will be able to recoup any of that money.
