The Laclede County Health Department began weekly conference calls for Laclede County school district’s on Thursday. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the weekly calls will be a good resource for districts who have questions regarding their reopening plans……..

Joel E. Barber has had an outbreak of COVID-19 during their summer school program, with at least six students and teachers infected. There were also cases identified at Lebanon Middle School during their summer school program. The majority of area students will head back to the classroom on Monday, August 24th. Baker says the department isn’t sure what to expect but will be ready to address any problems that may arise.
