Laclede County Health Department adjusting services due to Covid-19 challenges

With the increasing concern of the COVID-19 illness, the Laclede County Health Department has adjusted some of its services to offer as much protection to theirs and staff.

Effective immediately:

WIC Office will be closed for face-to-face services. The staff will be working with WIC clients through telephone calls and processing appointments in this manner. Food vouchers will be mailed to you. It is important that the health department staff has your current telephone number, so if that has recently changed, please contact them. You can reach the WIC Office at 417-532-1271.

Immunizations – The Health Department is asking that you postpone routine immunizations. If you have a specific need, please call 417-532-2134.

Birth/Death Certificates – The department will continue to offer this service for as long as possible and within the safety measures.

Community Lab Service – As safely as possible for staff and clients, this service will continue for as long as possible. The Health Department will monitor the number of individuals in the facility and may need to make adjustments on entering and exiting the facility for your safety.
