Wednesday brought another day of double-digit increases in the number of COVID cases in Laclede County. 66 cases have been confirmed during the first 9 days of June, an average of 7 new cases each day. 72 cases were reported during the entire month of May. Laclede County has also now been designated as a COVID hot spot by the Missouri Hospital Association due to the rapid rise in the number of hospitalizations from COVID and the low vaccination rate.
