Laclede County Fatal

A 30-year old Jefferson City woman died in a single-vehicle accident at 12:20 Thursday afternoon on Ostrich Drive, 2 miles south of Lebanon in Laclede County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a 1999 GMC Jimmy driven by Christina C. Lawson traveled off the right side of the roadway, striking a fence and ejecting Lawson from the vehicle. She was pronounced deceased at 1:30 Thursday at Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. Lawson was not wearing a seatbelt.
