Laclede County Covid-19 count as of 6 pm Tuesday but Health Department warns about future counts as reporting is changing

Laclede Counties’ latest COVID-19 count as of 6:00 pm Tuesday is as follows:  there have been a total of 49 tests with 33 negatives, 0 positive and 16 pending. It is VERY important for residents to understand; these numbers reflect reported tests to the Laclede County Health Department. With the increasing numbers of patients being seen by healthcare providers, some are now choosing to no longer report any “negative” tests, and will only be providing a test result IF it comes back “positive”. The Laclede County Health Department wants to provide residents with as much information and updates as possible, but any numbers released in the days to come will not be an accurate count of the negative and pending tests.
