Laclede County Covid 19 cases now total 161

The Laclede County Health Department recorded two new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing the total to 161 total cases. 34 of those cases are currently active. One of the new cases was a resident or employee of a long-term care facility, while the other case possibly exposed others at Great Life Golf and Fitness on July 21st from 5-8 p.m. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says they are grateful the numbers were down………..

Around 75 tests are still pending. Baker says the upcoming Gospel Music Get-Together is a major area of concern, and events like that put our community at-risk……….

We asked Baker if she had children that were school-age if she would feel comfortable sending them to the classroom when school resumes in the Fall………..

Missouri set a record for the new number of cases for the third straight day with 1,673. 19 more people died bringing that number to 1,178.
