Laclede County continues consideration of Cares Act Fund applications

The Laclede County Commissioners have gone through phase 1 applications for Cares act funding for reimbursement of expenditures due to COVID-19 response, and they are continuing consideration of Phase 2 grant applications. Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst……

He said they should be announcing funds awarded soon and will be looking at a couple of phase one requests from the school and the health department again…..

Angst said they received 15 applications for phase 2 grant funding. He said some of those applications include a substantial amount of money, and after the grants are awarded the Commission will have to decide on Phase 3.
