Missouri experienced its first coronavirus-related death on Wednesday, with the death of a person in the Columbia-area. The number of cases has been increasing rapidly, as more tests are being done. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says they are awaiting results on two tests that were sent out. Baker says their department is also recommending that people try to stay at home as much as possible through the end of the month……….

Many people who do go in public are wearing masks, but Baker says that is not what they are recommending the general public do to avoid contracting Coronavirus……

Baker says residents need to be washing and sanitizing their hands as often as possible. Baker says the main transmission route for Coronavirus is through the air.
