Know Your World

Organizers are looking for a record crowd to show up for the 21st annual Know Your World event that will be taking place this evening from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at Nutter Fieldhouse on Fort Leonard Wood. International Military Students from 42 countries will be showing up to talk with the public about their countries and cultures. They will be manning displays depicting scenes from their home countries and serving some prepared food from their home countries as well. Julissa Craven of the International Military Student Office says admission is free to the Know Your World Event and the food dishes that are served at the event.

This event is an ideal learning opportunity for families with school-age children to attend.
Free student passports will be issued and free adult passports as well. As students circulate and visit the international military students, their passports will be punched. At the end of the evening, prizes will be awarded to the winners of a special drawing.
