Know Where Your Wallet Is?

The stress of the Christmas shopping season can be overwhelming to some; looking for that perfect gift, asking yourself does it fit in my budget and the crowds. While all that can be fun, it can also be distracting. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap reminds everyone, don’t let distractions cause you to lose sight of your valuables.

While you are shopping, it may be a good idea to hold on to your purse, wallet, and phone at all times. Then when you get to the parking lot and unload your cart, check and double-check to make sure that nothing is left behind. Another quick tip, before you leave home, make sure you have the “find my phone” feature set up for your cell phone. If you’re unsure how to do that, contact your cell phone provider.
