Klara Elenore Perry
Klara Elenore Perry entered this world on June 9, 1942, in Würzburg, Germany and departed this world on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 in Rolla, Missouri having attained the age of 82 years.
Daughter of the late Alfons Filbig and Elizabeth (Steins) Filbig, Klara grew up in Germany and after being united in marriage to 1SGT (Ret) Ronnie G. Perry on December 10, 1965, she moved to the United States. In 1972, Klara was proud to receive her American Citizenship.
Klara proudly supported her husband’s service in the U.S. Army and was dedicated to her husband’s military tours as a supportive wife and mother.
Klara also served her country as a Loss Prevention Regional Manager for AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service) on the military installations. She was a dedicated employee and served for 45 years before retiring.
After retiring, Klara dedicated her time to the Ft. Leonard Wood USO as a volunteer. She loved her extended family and the USO Service Dogs.
Klara loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Klara leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Ronnie G. Perry of the home; three daughters: Gabrielle Lorenz (Dan L.), Barbara Bradley (Shelton), and Elenore Perry (Dan G); one son: Ronnie J. Perry (Queta); five grandchildren: Michelle Lorenz, Danielle Swann (Tim), Angela Lopez (Christian), Bruce Hoffman, and Cody Hoffman; and three great-grandchildren: Chace Lang, Bryce Lang, and Lilly Swann.
In addition to her parents, Klara was preceded in death by her brother George, and sister Maria.
Even though she is gone from our sight, Klara will be forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2024, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert.
