Rhys [[ REECE ]] Hoskins hit a pair of homers as the Phillies topped the Cardinals on KJEL. Hoskins went deep in the seventh and ninth for his seventh and eighth homers, respectively, to give Philadelphia its third win in five games. Zack Wheeler picked up his second win of the year, giving up one run on one hit while striking out nine over eight-plus innings. Hector Neris earned his fourth save. Adam Wainwright twirled a complete game in defeat for St. Louis, dropping to 0-and-3.

Dylan Carlson had an RBI groundout for the lone Redbirds run in the ninth.
