A six-game losing skid concluded with a six run win over the Indians on KJEL… Tyler O’Neill homered twice and plated three runs.

Matt Carpenter had a three-run double, while Paul Goldschmidt and Yadier Molina also plated runs for the Cards.

Adam Wainwright tossed seven innings of two-run ball for the win. Harold Ramirez and Eddie Rosario drove in the runs for the Indians. Jean Carlos Mejia suffered his first career loss after giving up four runs in two-thirds of an inning. After a Thursday off, the Cards will be at Wrigley Field in Chicago tomorrow for a 1:20 matchup with the National League Central division leaders…..Pre-game coverage will begin at 12:25 on Regional Radio…

ANGELS 6 ROYALS 1

Anthony Rendon and Kean Wong each drove in two runs as the Halos completed a 3-game sweep in Anaheim. Griffin Canning gave up just one run over six and two thirds innings to pick up the win. The Angels have won five of six. Kelvin Gutierrez drove in the lone run for the Royals. Brad Keller allowed five runs to take the loss for Kansas City, which has lost five straight.

The Angels pulled away from a one run game with five in the sixth…Kyle Zimmer struckout four in an inning and two thirds of relief work..Kansas City is 29-31 and will visit Oakland tonight at 8:40 to start a 4-game series with the A’s…
