The Kiwanis Club of Pulaski County is getting the word out earlier this year for the annual Christmas Parade in downtown Waynesville. The parade date will be December 5th. The parade theme will be “Christmas At Our House.” Line up will begin at noon at the Waynesville Middle School Parking lot. The parade will start at 2 pm from the Waynesville Middle School parking lot and travel Historic Route 66 through the Downtown Waynesville Square. Candy may be tossed, but make sure that you get it to the edge of the road where the children will stay safe. No tire burnouts from any vehicles or motorcycles. The club is looking for bands, antique cars, muscle cars, motorcycles, commercial, organizations, and church floats, along with walkers and folks that just like being in a parade.
