Kiwanis Club Makes Donation To Laclede County Sheriff’s Office DARE Program

The Lebanon Kiwanis Club donated $1500 to the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office DARE program. The Sheriff’s Office is currently teaching DARE at Conway and plans to extend the program to Joel E. Barber in 2024. “Deputy Jesse Sherrer is our School Resource Officer at Conway and is teaching the program. We are hoping to have one more deputy attend the training this fall in an effort to expand the program to Joel E. Barber and then to Gasconade C-4,” said Sheriff David Millsap. The sheriff added, “The Lebanon Kiwanis Club has been a very good partner over the last several years with our drug educational efforts and is now a major sponsor of our DARE program.”
