Kim Karr Visits Waynesville Middle School

Waynesville Middle School had a guest speaker on December 2022. Kim Karr, a former teacher who developed online safety was the guest speaker and is the founder of #ICANHELP. Karr’s goal is for students to become digital first responders. Waynesville Middle School Principle Brian Vernon says Karr has been doing this for a long time and is encouraging students to stand up against cyberbullying.

Vernon says that the middle school implemented Karr’s I Can Help into their curriculum at the school.
