The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) IS DOING THE SAME THING….THEY’VE
partnered with HomeTown Ticketing (HTT) to serve as the official digital ticketing partner.
Digital ticketing will be used for all state championship events, and is an option for all other
playoff contests, at the discretion of the host manager.
For the championship sites this fall, all ticket sales will be digital.

“By utilizing this technology at our championship sites,” said MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Kerwin Urhahn, “we can have a
totally touchless experience at the gate for both our spectators and our workers. No money has
to be traded, no tickets have to be torn. This will add another layer of safety for everyone
attending the event.”

Currently, all venues hosting MSHSAA Championship events have admission limitations, except
for the final sites for Girls Golf and the outdoor portions of Girls Tennis. For team sports, the
digital ticket sales will be through the participating schools. For individual sports such as tennis,
golf, and cross country, spectators may purchase tickets from the MSHSAA website.

ROYALS

With their 8-6 win in 11 innings over the Royals on Monday night in Kansas City (box score), the New York Yankees became the first team in MLB history to blow four saves in one game and still win. With the unlikely victory, the Yankees have won nine of their past 11 and are 16-7 in the second half. They’re also now just two games behind the Red Sox for the second AL wild card spot.
