IT WON’T BE TOO LONG BEFORE WE SEE THE WAYNESVILLE TIGERS SUIT UP FOR ANOTHER FALL FOOTBALL SEASON….THIS COMING SEASON, EVERYONE IS HOPING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAN 2020….COVID PROTOCAL WAS CENTER STAGE AND IT EFFECTED EVERYONE…THE VOICE OF THE TIGERS ON 102.3 FM, OUR OWN MARV LUTEN SAT DOWN WITH TIGER COACH JOE HAYNES EARLIER THIS WEEK……
FOR SEVERAL YEARS RUNNING, THE TIGERS HAVE HAD AN UNDERSIZED OFFENSIVE LINE, AND IT SHOWED UP IN GAMES WHEN GUYS WEIGHING IN THE LOW 200 POUND RANGE HAD TO BLOCK OR TRY TO MOVE GUYS THAT WERE 250 TO 270 AND BEYOND AND IT WAS NOT TOO SUCCESSFUL…IN 2021, THE TIGER COACH SAID THE O-LINE COULD BE A BRIGHT SPOT WITH SOME ADDITION’S TO THE TEAM….

WE WILL CARRY THE TIGERS ON 102.3 FM AGAIN THIS SEASON FOR OUR 52ND YEAR STARTING IN AUGUST…..
